Round off the bolsters on a Case '75 Stockman

Is it possible to round off the square bolsters on a Case 75 Stockman to make it more pocket friendly?

Would it damage the knife or affect it's functionality?

Appreciate any ideas or comments.

Yes use sand paper and go slow. I did a all stainless steel knife on a belt sander but I used one for decades and a Case is too nice to get near a belt sander.
