Just wrapped up this mod, and it turned out better than I had expected.
1. Got user version on the exchange, immediately copt backspacers from Gnoleb, which helped tons w/ the balance and weight. 2. Was getting tired of the futuristic hard-line/angle aesthetic, and was itching to see what a more rounded, fluid-line version would feel and look like. 3. Did it - pretty quick w/ belt sander and dremel. Handles were already 'contoured' in an angular fashion, so I just rounded off the hard angles. Blade just needed a lil rounding at the spine to keep the flow. 4. Home stonewashed in the drier w/ Michaels river rock medium, 40 min.
