I have an older Buck 110 with squared off bolsters. I like the look and feel of rounded bolsters. Has anyone customized theirs? If so can you post a picture of the end result and any recommendations on how to do it?

Just use it a lot, and they will round themselves over a period of ten to twenty years, as they wear out 4 or 5 sheaths. It will happen so slowly that you won't even notice, till you happen to compare it to an unused old knife.I have an older Buck 110 with squared off bolsters. I thought about picking up an older 110 at a flea market or garage sale, that is junk so that I could experiment to see if I can modify it. The one I have has zero sentimental value. It was produced between 1974 and 1980. I don't know what it is worth today to a collector.Buy a more recent rounded version? They're not making any more of the old square ones…
That is actually a factory finger groove. But they seem to be worn a little. That knife saw a lot of hard use.You did a nice job of reprofiling the scales.I notice what appears to be finger notches or grooves. I like it. Thanks.
