I've wanted this combination, jigged buffalo S30V lockback, in a folder for years. Having received them from Buck I couldn't have fallen into deeper clover. A dream come to life duo. Buck has upped the ante and exceeded my expectations. Thank you kindly everyone at Buck Knives. You are all right. Note: The thin bolsters of the 110 vs the thick bolsters of the 112.

Thank you for the kind words. My pleasure.

Tang stamp on 112, note: 2010 date make (arrow head, pointing left, to the right and between BCCI & USA):

Also, the tang stamp is identical on both models, 110 & 112.

Thanx for showing those Beauties oregon! I held off on this round but that 112 sure was calling!
They look real nice together:thumbup:

You do those beauties justice with the excellent pictures you have posted!!

I rushed mine yesterday and took pictures in bad light....but I was trying to post before you. :p

Sitflyer,

Now that these sharpened & pointy jewels are in my hands I have to wonder how Buck can part with them. Really. There has to be an abundance of pride in this high level of craftsmanship that I would think would make them feel like they are selling something precious.

Stumps,

Very kind of you. THX. I wasn't able to collect this loot at the Post Office until last night (and after bragging about my PO box on this forum!). ;) You got me. This time... The black horn looks and feels rich like black gold. It warms to my touch and the significant swell at mid-handle on the 110 is a welcome anatomical grip aid and just looks right to my sore eyes.

WOW,Red liners are my favorite ,it really makes a knife come alive !Those look great ,that handle material has to be grippy,it just has to be !LOL

Thank you RB.

The 110 fits as if it was made for my particular hand. I haven't dropped either knife yet the grippynessasticky is that good.

Meanwhile the folders have beat a path to the display case leaving only falling leaves in their place:

AH-HAH,Maple !,I thinknthe case has some fine knives in it,is that a Goliath on the left?Gotta love the old and new mixed together in one display!

Congrats and thanks for sharing those great photos. Almost opted for the same knives but decided otherwise. Happy with my decision but after seeing your pics I'm not quite as happy as I was. Those are beautiful knives!

You have a good eye RB. Yes, that is a humongus Bucklite Goliath on the left. There is a little bit of everything/ages/styles/makers in this china cabinet turned cutlery closet. Stuff that I like.

You ordered some top drawer attractive merchandise BH. Love to see a photo or two of your haul. Thank you for the kind words. The camera loves these folders.

Steve, Great Pics... Your show case is looking sweet... Thanks for sharing some of your collection with us here on the forum... ITE ...

It is my pleasure ITE. I get a huge kick out of seeing everyone else's cutlery and really appreciate this forum's terrific selfless membership. You brass Classic owner you.

You know, that you never have to prove yourself in any other manner after acquiring that lost treasure of the ancients. Boy-o-boy. Man-o-man. What a find. They do exist. Yup.

Oregon, Those make a handsome duo. Great imagination in the photos, makes for some great shots. DM
