Router Problem

So, I have a verizon wireless pixi plus phone and when i connect to the email through wifi, my emails dont get pushed through. But when it's on 3g, the emails come through no problem. The modem i have is a Siemens speedstream 4100 and a linksys e1000 router. I have SBC Global internet, and the email address is an @sbcglobal.net email. Do you guys have any ideas as to what could be the problem?

What does "pushed through" mean? They don't get sent, they don't get received, or both?

Do you have a firewall set up on the wifi side?

Figured out the issue. It was with the email address itself! had a problem with the xbox 360 my brother uses but fixed that too. I hate this router! I am used to manually configuring a router, but it comes with "cisco connect" software, and any tiny change i make crashes the connection. I hate it! And i can't flash a DD-WRT firmware onto it because... it doesn't exist yet.
