I just picked up a little two blade folder today at a flea market. It's about 3" long with 2 small blades, nickel bolsters and the steel is apparently carbon steel judging by the rust. The only marking is Rov Cut, Prov, R.I. on the main blade.
I don't recall ever seeing one like this before. Never even heard of the company. Cost me all of $2 and might make a good knife for a kid sometime but I'm just curious if anyone knows anything about this company. I know there were several reputable knife makers around Providence and I'm wondering if this was a subcontract type knife.
Any help about where to look would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I figured it out. It's Prov cutlery. The P is worn off the main blade. Haven't sharpened it up yet but I'll bet it's Schrade quality. I'll probably put it in an Altoid tin kit for an emergency knife until some other use is found for it. Thanks anyway.
