Can someone explain this to me? This may just be a newb question but is Row(e)n a company that makes the knives or what?

Edit: I guess it would help if I spell it right.

Rowen now makes RAT knives. They used to be made by Ontario Knife but there was a dispute and RAT severed their relationship. The Ontario RATs will numbered RAT-#. The best RATS are from Rowen and are numbered RC-#. Superior heat treatment and powder coating IMHO. Hope this helps.

Does anyone have any examples of anything they made before the RatCutlery collaboration?

So does Rowen make other designs? I'm just trying to wrap my head around it. I tried looking for a website but found nothing. Just curious.

The RAT Cutlery knives are made by Rowen Design by Jeff Randall and Mike Perrin of Randall's Adventure & Training (RAT).
Since our "all USA made" decision, we have partnered with Rowen Manufacturing to produce part of our new knife line. With this partnership, RAT Cutlery now has the ability to do OEM work for other companies, as well as small-lot special runs and private label projects. We can also provide OEM sheaths and components for the knife industry.

So if I designed something or wanted an added on logo besides theirs on a knife I could place that kind of an order?

Rowen does make knives for other companies and has in the past made alot of knives for some very well known companies.

Shon isn't hiding anything as far as who he's done work for or continues to do work for but some of his customers would like it kept quiet that they don't make their own knives.

ESEE is proud of the partnership with Shon and Becky, thus the name right on the blade.
