Roy Rogers trick knife

My daughter gave me one of these years ago. At one time, I knew how to open the knife. I forgot...haven't handled the knife in years.

Does anyone know how to open the trick knife?

I would bet that it would be legal in NY.

took a little searching on google but i found this on opening and closing the knife:

With the blade closed you have to hold the knife down towards the right side bolster and tap the knife to open the blade. Then to close it you have to hold it the other way and tap it

Thanks. It worked. The knife was made in Ireland by Imperial.

Most of them looked like the top one in this photo. I have a handful of those and still stump people on opening them.

i have one that i bought at the magic store i work at a few years ago, I love the damn thing to death, carry it every day. not only does it cut like a laser and have a nifty little blade detent device, it also has a WICKED magic trick built into it.
