I thought I would share pix of this beuty with you all!

I would class it as a Langapate {longleaf} with almost Budhume {bigbelly} tendencies!

Although I am sure in Nepal they would say its just a kukri!

It is 20.5 inches long! with a 16+inch blade, & partial T spine.

The blade is 2 7/8 inch deep at the belly, & it has a typical long leaf style handle in horn.

It strikes me as quite massive for a traditional military Victorian kukri.

I find the Nepalese Royal Armoury crescent stamped on it fascinating as it is the largest I have personaly come across {Its not Unique though.}, Its very cleanly cut as well.

Overall I find this piece to be exceptional amongst the Longleafs I have seen.

I realy like it! {in case you didnt guess!} :D

Spiral

That is one "end-loaded" Khuk! Very sleek and pretty, though. Thanks for sharing!

Very nice.
Good to hear of good pieces still coming
out of the Atlanta Cutlery lots.
(assuming)

Cheers Guys,
ddean Its not from Atlanta cutlery, I would guess this is an officers versian, rather than a Naiks beater kuk.

Another collector wanted to trade for one of my nicer kuks & offered this one in return.

Spiral,

What a find. I LOVE everything about that one. Handle, Blade, Cho, you name it. Just wonderful. Thanks for sharing.

Really, really sweet! Nice trade. Did it come with a sheath? I love the older sheaths that are just wide enough for the blade and no more and still give a tight fit. Very impressive blade. Thanks for showing us!

regards,

Norm
