what, no duke of earl? (talk about tradition...;))

Dennis, His Majesty is wearing a very nice stag cumberbund!

Great swedges on the two open master blades as well.

that exec whittler was kicked about as the 2010 forum knife...for about a second:D but i love the looks of that pattern! And well the elephant toenail is, well my grail knife... one day i will have one, vintage or new whichever:D dont think i'll be too picky
Awesome showing!
thanks

Great lookin' knives, Dennis.

I really like GEC's "Executive" whittler as an EDC user, and I'm thinking of getting another one. How does the new Tidioute stack up compared to the previous Northfield version in terms of fit?

I think the toenail is the most exotic, mysterious pattern ever made. I love it. It's origins are shrouded by time and today it still a pattern that draws the eye.

thanks for the response fellows:rick if one gets his fingertip down on the knife near the tip of the master blade you can feel a little of the edge sticking up . this is on one of the stags & the ebony. it's only very minor & no problem as a carry piece, also easily correctable. however rick i feel that might bug yourself as you have some of the finest knives i've ever seen on the forum.overall the fit is = to the whitts i got about 7 months back, however you give up some oomph w/o the swedge & polish attached to the northfield.incidently mentioning polish gec doe'nt always follow any set rule on polish, i have plenty of n.f.s with glaze finishes & conversely several tiduotes with the higher polish.hate to say it blues but when you talk about the duke of earl people will know you might have a little gray hair. i understand this pattern had an ancestor way back when so it's not original to gec.

I would have a seriously hard time figuring out which of those to carry. All of them are among my Grail Knives.
