The first I heard of the Ghurkas, excuse me Ghorkas, was when a friend of mine was finishing Ranger School. He had been involved in maneuvers and some Ghorkas had been invited to participate with them.

As I remember, he said that they approached a clearing and saw the Ghorkas walking through the clearing about a hundred yards away. They were sure the Ghorkas had not seen them. While Some platoon members kept an eye on the Ghorka's movements, others took a few seconds to coordinate plans to ambush the Ghorkas. By the time they had finished, the Ghorkas had vanished in front of their eyes. They proceeded with caution, but before they could even deploy, the Ghorkas were upon them. They spent the rest of the manuevers as prisoners.

He said it was like magic. How did they disappear and cover so much ground in so little time?

I remember how genuinely impressed he was.

And that makes two cryptic Ghostsix posts I understood. How many do I have to guess to win the Grand Prize? What is the Grand Prize, anyway?

No problem Ghost - I tend to hit the same places over and over. I forget there is joy in playing around in new places and fun in learning. When I find something/someplace neat, I want to show it off and share it, especially with friends like on this forum.
Thus the posting of the links.
