I'm thinking about purchasing this Kukhri as a show piece, but was wondering if it's possible to clean tarnish off of silver without harming leather on scabbard?

As long as you clean the silver regularly, i.e. monthly or more often, you don't need to use anything except a clean soft cloth like an old t-shirt. Nothing to harm the horn, no chemicals, just some black smudges on your clean cloth.

Let us know if it's actually available. Always interested to know what is still being made or not. Perhaps with some photos too [emoji3]

Finally! Something I can chime in on!
Silver tarnish is usually caused by Sulfur. Chemicals or finger oils...
Some silver collectors actually prefer a natural Patina of tarnish which forms over time...very thin layers of tarnish can form beautiful colors like deep oranges, blues, purples, and greens... This happens naturally over time.

As stated above, a soft cloth can work wonders but you can also get a 'polishing cloth' from a jeweler for about $5.00.

They are usually two-sided with one containing a mild abrasive. One side removes tarnish and the other buffs - read the instructions...

Silver is worth the 'trouble'..and the trouble is usually overstated.
