I saw this knife on another site, and thought it was really quite beautiful. Can anyone tell me anything about it? How it holds up? If they're being produced at the moment? Scale choices? Thanks!

Edited to change the title, on account of I'm a dink:( :o

Ummm, I have never made a knife called the Blackfoot. The Blackfoot is the name of a future model however. Sure its not the Crowfoot?

:o :o Mr. Simonich, I'm sorry! I meant the Crowfoot :o :o

I've been doing a lot of research on Native tribes, and I guess I got Crowfoot mixed up with Blackfoot. Sorry! Crowfoot is the one I meant! If you'd like to give any information on you new model though, please feel free!

Fully Embarrassed,
Anthony  :o

SpyderJohn, no problem! I name most of my knives with American Indian names and it is easy to confuse them. If you need any info on the "real" Blackfeet let me know, I spend a lot of time on the Rez here in Montana and know a few of the Elders that I sweat with regularly. BTW, my Pikuni model is named after the Blackfeet.

The Crowfoot is available right now with G-10 handles in Blue/Black Combo, as well as Carbon Fiber for a short wait. I also offer the great DLC coating on this knife from http://www.bodycote.com Please e-mail me or post in the Simonich knives LLC forum here on Bladeforums if you have any other questions.
