I'm glad Wulf wasn't hurt worse... BTW what is this "large.....uhhhhhhh.......BOLO knife" that will remain nameless?:D
 
Man, I feel like such a wuss when I look at the cut now :o (it's starting to scab up nicely). The actual wound is no more than a half inch long. It's probably almost as deep though, and it sure did bleed. I learned a valuable lesson in physics this weekend... and in stupidity! Keep that edge AWAY from the body :eek:
 
Wulf. Sorry to hear of your mishap, a word or two of warning though. Put you hawk in a place where it can't reach you right now until you can box it up and send it to me. Once these things taste human blood, like a wild animal they can't forget the taste and will continue to crave it. So please for your safety and for your families...send your hawk to me where I can "destroy" it although it may take me many years to do so...take care and be safe.

I've decided to take a new approach with my hawk. Though I had at first thought it would do him some good to go down to Ft Bragg and jump out of airplanes ;) I have since reconsidered. I've decided that the best way to punish him is just to do what my old man used to do to me - take him out back and beat the crap out of him. Bad hawk! Bad hawk! :D
 
Wulf, I know what you mean..you've got to show who's the top dog....er, Alpha Wolf. Take em' out beat them. That's how I keep my StriderWB under control.
Of course I think next time I go visit my brother in NJ I'll drive the extra few miles north and go visit the shop and buy myself one of those VN Tactical Hawks, will defintetly have to show it whos' boss. Be safe out there.
