Anyone have any experience with one of these? Handled one even?

Looking for some first hand experience, thoughts comments or even guesses about the knife welcome. Looking for pretty much any info now that I think about it.

Hi Chambers!
I have one! I have the #L02 G-10 with brass pins. I like it! It is very stout 1095 and 1/4" thick. Did I emphasize stout! :D It feels nice in my hand and has quite a bit of heft for its smaller stature. I like the unique blade profile although the edge is fairly thick and won't quite give you that biting edge you might want on a knife like this. I almost think this one is an anomaly in this respect. The back is sharpened most of the way. You couldn't cut yourself on it if you tried. Sharpening it is possible but doesn't seem necessary to me with this blade profile. The back is somewhat functional as it stands for hacking through something that would damage the primary edge. Once again, this is a stout, compact, heavy-hitter. The tip is very strong and the handle butt is a striker indeed! I have several TOPS products and I am glad I have this one.

My newest TOPS is the Smoke Jumper. The Smoke Jumper is AWESOME! Talk about heavy duty. It's a joy to hold and look at. The edge is pretty thin and extremely sharp (much moreso than the Loner, which is strange.) The tip is extremely strong as it was designed to pry open doors and such in an emergency situation. This beast is heavy enough to be a chopper as well.

Hope this helps.

Thanks!
Cris

I've seen one. It's a dangerous looking knife. You know it's 1/4' thick and double edged. Handles well, it's a pure fighter and looks very concealable. I decided on the Moccasin Ranger instead. I just loved the S curve design and it looks like one of the long-hunter knives from the 1700's. The loner is very practical, but it's kind of funky looking.
