RS6 Predator (WSK style) #0011/1000

I have the Predator (Tracker/WSK style) knife made by Red Scorpion Six that I got from RS6 about 12 years ago. I know there's some hard feelings towards the company, but I still like the knife. I have #0011 of 1000. I was told by the company owner that this was the first knife he sold to the public, as the first 10 were either for him or for some servicemen he knew. Anyway, my blade is a bit scuffed up and in dire need of a sharpening. I got the knife out again after not doing much with it for many years. I was considering having it re-scaled and polished and sharpened by a local custom knife maker. My only hesitation is that with such a low S/N, it might be better left alone.

Took me 3 years, but I figured out how to posts photos. I even found the photo that RS6 used to promote the Predator when it was released, which was my photo of this knife. The sheath is a Richard Holloman sheath from Rawhide Leather with earth magnet retention.

Has there been any such collectors out there looking for something like this?

Not my style.. But there's someone for everything.
Of course, as a registered member you can't discuss sales or value....and, hopefully, you've done whatever mods you wanted to do over the past few years
 
I haven't done anything to it. I'm feeling like I should keep it the way it is now. I don't really use it anymore, so there's no sense in monkeying with it. It's just fun to handle and remember that it was my first foray into bushcraft.
 
Yeah, I've read through most of the old threads about RS6 and this knife. It's got a sordid past for sure. Still a cool knife to have, and it brings back a lot of memories of the year I bought it. I was a young guy who just watched The Hunted. Probably a common story there.
