You can view some images of the prototype sheath at:

PLEASE NOTE: the tab on the retaining strap on the production sheath will be about 1/2 as long as that on the prototype. Still plenty for one-handed operation with the stiffener, but won't stick out so far as to get caught on things.

These things still gonna be ready for shipment via sleigh?

Not by sleigh, for sure. Hope by end of year, but could well slip into January due to slow shipping over the holidays or a hiccup in production. Especially with a first run, stuff happens.

Most understandable! Either way, their coming (timing) was a surprise to me, I didn't expect to see the design even discussed for another few quarters. So I'm a happy camper. :D

I see a new favorite knife coming my way soon...

Nice knife it kind of reminds me of the Bk-10 crewman

I like the brass plug idea and the stronger zytel scales

Very nice, it looks like a great compliment to the knife. Just saw the date pushed back to January :( Still worth it though, can't wait!

did it ship yet? i'm getting cold waiting on the porch :D

Don't feel bad, my mailman just filed a restraining order against me thanks to my impatience.

it's a whole nother day and it's still not here. dies a little inside :)

oh, and the sheath is made in Mexico. that's Central America! guess it's all still American made ;)

at least it's in English! that way this dumb American can read where it's made!

Looks good, I like the ability to add in a secondary or alternative retention strap with para cord if needs be.

updates on the sheath? or the grey coating pictures? or any information at all?

need to know!

:D
