Like Bladite recomended, a thread for folks wanted to swap serial #'s on their Ritter knives.

I have #059

I am looking for #022

Gonna give it a couple of weeks to see what happens with finding #22 and then I'll use it provided BeckerHead #59 doesn't want this one.

I have number 63 but need number 67, my Beckerhead number! 67 is a 'special number' or 'lucky number' for me so I really really want it, especially since I talked to them about it and they said OK.

I have #24.
#57 would be cool to have, but is not critical.

I'm still waiting for mine. Ordered late sunday night, actually 4:30 a.m. monday morning. Should be here tomorrow or thursday latest, Gotta love Knifeworks. ship fast.... I've been sweating like a whore in church waiting to see if it's serialized..I'd be happy with any number!!!

I get one later this week, I'll let you guys know what number I get. I doubt it will be a low digit number though.

Revised: got 102

I got mine today #91. I'm probably wrong, but I thought the first run was for 100 knives. So if you got an order in, you would have to be under 100 right.? There still selling them on knifeworks though, so they must have made more. Not sure. Well Good Luck!! maybe you'll be surprised and get one.

the lady I spoke with did say it was still numbered

its possible they produced 125 or 150 of them

we shall see, supposed to be here friday or staurday

Quarter Tank, Let me know. If they are still serial #'d,, I'd like to buy one for my son. I havn't used mine yet, but it feel's very solid and well balanced. I'd like to put micarta handles on it, but don't want to screw up the balance. To me it's the perfect balance between the BK2, and the BK7. Ritter, Becker, and Rowen hit a home run with this..

got mine

thats what I get when you order late...

#104

I am curious to know how many knives are numbered

dont really plan to use this knife. most like ly use the hell outta the non serial production version

:oWoops, sorry. Looks like I've got #067.

Fortunately, I've not had any time to use it. Frankly, I was about to head out when I just noticed this.

So, I'll toss an old Bussekin user in the vehicle and use that, instead.:)

I've got no Beckerhead number yet ... and have no superstitions anyway ... so I've got NO problem letting you have this one for that one. I assume the edge on old #63 is just as great as the one on #67.

I'll send you a PM or an e-mail.

Mind you, I'm awfully busy at work, so it might be awhile before I get her boxed up and out to you.

Email replied.

I can't thank you enough for this, it really means a lot to me. I hope your goodwill starts a whirlwind of number switching.

You're quite welcome, but folks should thank Bladite and Oregon Fal'er for coming up with this good idea.
