Man oh man, I LOVE those monster Nessie's! Are they all spoken for, or will you be posting some for sale on here?

There are a few extras. I will be posting them for sale here too.

Thanks!

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOh Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!
Supa Dupa Sweet! Is that WSK w/Natural scales a Pretty Baby? Oh yes it is!

I think Dan's WSK is one of the better versions of that type of knife, but they are probably not my favorite "type" of BIG knife........

NOW that GIANT NESSE she talks to me..... SWEET!! They feel GREAT in the hand.

They make me want to go and chop enough trees to build a shelter, then skin out a Moose and roast the steaks over a fire that I built..... of coarse I have never done any of that, but I know the knife would be up to it!!

Good Stuff!!!

I want to see how that proto of yours and Dans new project feels. That speaks to me as well. I think that and Giant Nesse are next on my list of choppers.

At last a pic that shows just how big the monster nessies are!!:D
They almost dwarf the PSK's just behind them.

Did you have a psk with the new coating at Blade?

Shop pics are always cool.

Yes.....just one.

It's 7AM on 7/7/7

And yes, I feel lucky! :D  :p

Looks like a bunch of fine goodness there. You start the grind out that steep on the nessies and draw it back to that wide flat grind?

Yes...the initial grind is ~45 degrees on each side - to establish the center of the edge. I leave it around 0.030"-0.050" thick.

Then I grind it about 3/4 the way up...heat-treat...then take it up the rest of the way afterwards.

Flat-grinding is a BEAR!!!!

But I'm much better at it nowadays....:D :p

Had an opportunity to handle a Nessie-magnum at Blade and it's quite a knife. By the time I finished buying all the leather I'd come for, I didn't have the leftover cash; but I was very sorry to leave without it. One of those knives that seems like it'd be good at just about everything.

The Monster Nessmuks are going to be $245 base price, with options available. Leather sheaths will be available from Kenny Rowe (extra).
