RTAC II blade width

Hello everyone, I have been browsing these forums for a while but this is my first actual post, so I hope I do it right (right place, ect).

My question is: How wide is the RTAK II blade? I don't mean the thickness which i know to be 3/16 inches, I mean the width or the height of the blade. From edge to spine. I have searched all over the internet for this dimension, but I can't seem to find it and no nearby stores have it in stock for me to look at. I would greatly appreciate if someone could dig out their RTAK II and measure for me (or just give me a rough estimate).

Thank you for your time.

Welcome to the disease. You're on the right track but in the wrong lane, do not buy the RTAK II. Go to youtube and search RTAK II failures, I know all knives have a breaking point but these all have the same one. Save up for a Junglas which is sort of the updated version with better manufacturing or please check out the Becker BK 9 by Kabar.

Thank you for the advice, but to be honest I am not going to be buying any more knives for a while (or at least thats what I keep telling myself) but I have recently been bitten by the knife making bug and just wanted to see how wide these types of knives generally are. I just used the RTAK because I personally like the looks of the blade (blade shape), and I would like to make my own version of it, just for fun, out of an old file or some steel stock.

I just realized I was spelling RTAK with a C at the end. I did a search of the proper name and I found a thread that had what I was looking for. I am an idiot. Thanks for your input anyways HardTripper. Its been a long week already and its only Tuesday. please forgive my stupidity.
