RTAK 2 in 5160?

When did Ontario change the steel on the knife? All the current youtube reviewers are stating that their knife is 1095, the Ontario knife website shows it as 5160. If anyone has the newer version a review on it would be much apreciated.thanks
 
I think it's been a few years now. At least from what I have seen, but there was never any update from ontario when the change happened. Seems like they went with 5160 on a lot of their large knives, probably because of all the broken knives they had with 1095 due to their inconsistent HT. Not sure that changing steel solves the problem, but we will see.
