Well I know that Ontario can be a dirty word on this forum but I snagged a RAT 5 and RTAK II. The 5 seems to be a good knife but I have another that is close in size so I'll likely part with it. The RTAK II while not real practical is pretty neat though.

What do ya'll think?

actually ontario is not a bad work here..most of us have one verson or another of the rat knives....i love my rtakII and find it quite functional in the pineywoods of east texas...shotgunner made a nice kydex sheath that mounts to my wheeler so i can clear branches off of trails....everyones complaint is the big handle but i have large hands and actually love it....its a good blade and i am sure you will love it

I SO wanted an RTAK II before I knew of the Junglas. Now I want one of those. 'Patience Grasshopper...'

I just got an RTAK II a couple weeks ago, i like it alot.
I did some modding to it because i felt like changing the handle a bit and stripped the blade but its a good chopper for me. THE ONLY thing i dislike is the "what do you need such a big knife for" questions!!!! Thats annoying:mad:. I just tell them its a bigger blade so i can hit my intended target easier and with more authority... lol:thumbup:

I have a RTAK II and love it, great fun batoning it.
We where having a motorcycle weekend and i stuffed it in my pack(the knife that is, not the motorcycle). When i pulled it out to make some wood someone mentioned "Ah good, you brought a butterknife".
