RTAK II etc steel 5160, used to use 1095?

Did the RTAK II , Spec plus use to be made with 1095 and they switched to making them with 5160 steel?

I see some older reviews, specs saying 1095

You are correct about the RTAK II.

The Spec Plus line is STILL 1095.

The Spec Plus GEN 2 line is made out of 5160.

5160 is good stuff. I've owned more 5160 knives than any other single blade steel, including a RTAK 2.
