Missed out on a great deal on the RTAKII on a site that shall remain unnamed, and just wanted to know if ESEE is going to be producing something similar. Is the RTAKII still under license to Ontario? While I am looking forward to picking up an RC5, RC6 and the new machetes, is there anything available in the blade range between the RC6 and the machete?

Also, if I grind the coatings off and alter the finish on the blade, will that void the warranty?

Ah, I saw the lite machete in Blade's recent issue, thought that the Junglas was the lite machete. Okay, the Junglas is on my short list. Thanks.

Just got my junglasin tonight. It's very very nice. If you're looking In The ten inch range, it's the ticket

I'm sure you're talking about the $60 RTAK II. If so paying $110 more for the Junglas is going to be a tough pill to swallow. I missed that deal as well and got the Juglas. I don't regret it one bit.

Be aware there was at one point in time a shit pot load of RTAK IIs that were ground slightly off and appeared bent if you looked down the spine of the blade. A lot were caught before they got out but a LOT were not caught and began showing up in Europe and other places here in the states. Just be sure what you buy is a straight blade. Mike

You will not regret getting the Junglas. It is really a great product, and an amazing deal all things considered.
