Has anyone thought of including a small tube of rubber cement in their survival kits? I was thinking about it today in class when I should have been paying more attention to the curriculum. Anyway, has anyone carried this before as a possible fire starter and epoxy or any other use? Let me know.

I wouldn't use it to start a fire, its probably not the best fire starter and if you have to resort to using that in your bob, than bob is probably not very well thought through. I think heavy duty duck tape is much better. You can fix a whole lot of things with duck tape from busted hoses to torn tents. I do keep a small bottle of rubber cement in my truck, for extreme use like fixing flats on dirt bikes and tires. i have run flat tires on my truck, but I supsect that I would at some point have to fix the whole and inflate it to normal air pressure to keep going for longer distances.
