ok so they can wear out they aren't as durable as other applications but i still think a rectangular rubber handle is the best all-around handle. It is indexed (50/50), grip function is excellent for short and long term work etc etc especially on a FB but i would like to see more on folders (at least as insert material). I take it that makers shy away from it though due to warranty concerns. Is there a super rubber that performs well and is extra durable? Is that Falkniven handle stuff the state of the art enquiring minds want to know<

Res C is the best rubber handle material out there. To my knowledge only Busse, Swamp Rat and Scrap Yard use it. Its tough as can be, grippy when wet, doesn't conduct heat, and doesn't absorb oil or solutes. It is much better than Kraton and light years better than the material fallkniven uses. Res C is IMO THE best handle material out there. Its ugly but it performs.
