rubberized scales?

I have a Lowes Kobalt 2 inch liner lock and multi-tool combo I got on sale for $8. Yes, they're
not quality stuff - but they're fine for the twice per month that I need them at the office, and
they're people friendly. They do have a lifetime warantee, so it could be worse.

My point is, I really like the rubberized scales on them. It reminds me of the Spyderco Stretch
I had circa 2005 (I think), when it was steel with rubber insert handles (or whatever the material
was; grippy).

Anything like that out there now that's - well - better than Kobalt? I haven't done much knife
browsing in the past year, so I don't know what's new...

Thanks

Kershaw Blur has aluminum handles with a grip tape type inserts, very grippy knife. Cold Steel Recon 1's G10 is so grippy it tends to shred pockets.
