Ruck Has a Flat Grind?

Hi All,

Just got my first Busse--a Ruck--from Ed Ricketts. BTW, Ed's a good guy to do business with. Positive feedback for him coming in GBU soon...

Anyway, as I'm taking a look at the edge, it looks flat ground. I was expecting an asymmetrical edge that is flat ground on one side and convex on the other. Can someone confirm that it's supposed to asymmetrical or flat?

Flat ground as far as I have ever heard or seen. Asymmetrical grind seems to appear on older models, like straight handled goodness.
 
Great. That's what I thought when I saw it, but I had read something that made me think it had an asymmetric grind.

flat or Convex (after mods) are all i have seen.

i am sure you could find someone to assym it for ya:thumbup:

flat is fine on the Ruck.....zero convex is better:D
