Got the Rucki in the shop today and the leather scraps are already starting to fly!!! :D

The Company Store will get material asap, I'll keep y'all up to date and post pics of the first sheath as it comes off the stitcher!

Custom orders soon to follow!

Thanks Eric for quick shipping!!!!!!!

I'm getting sequestered to the shop for the duration so I will be slow to answer e-mails and PM's. Probably best to send messages to the wife for the time being. :p

Can't wait for the pictures.
When I got my Rucki payment notice, I'll place an order.

OOOO BOYYYY!!!! :)

I have no idea what kind of sheath to get for this, I've never owned a sword before :D

Thanks everyone! :D

I forgot to mention that the Rucki is one pointy piece of SR101! Wicked pointy! So much so I'm a bit nervous of dropping it on my foot.

jbob, before the Swamp came along the only sword I owned was a Paul Chen Katana, and it had a wood scabbard. Its a whole new world trying to figure leather around a large object like a sword. :)

Thanks everyone! :D

Yes, it does have a VERY pointy stabby tip

And speaking of dropping it on a foot........ I didn't do it. I did drop it though on some tile and mashed the tip a bit :o It's still one pointy sonofabi.......

So, got any sheath pics yet ;)

The first bunch (half the first run) are hitting the stitcher tomorrow! Soon followed by pics. I will rush one through the finish process. :)

Finally got one off our overly fussy stitcher, sheesh it was a mess this weekend. :p

This run is the pure and simple no frills scabbard, mid ride belt loop and my "removable/replaceable" snap strap. :) And no, its not there on this one, I was running out of daylight and got a pic before it got dark.

Plans are in the makings for a "ruckable" sheath. More as I get through the patterning. :D

Very nice, looks very much like the Waki sheath I have. I love that style, simple, functional, and great looking!

A whole lot of leather is heading towards the Company store as of tomorrow!!

I busted my butt and got some serious numbers done, no rest for the wicked, off to catch up on the customs.
