After receiving my Rucki a couple of months back, I wanted to put together a sling type system for carry. This is what I came up with, utilizing a Winchester Sling, some zip ties and some good ole Azwelke Kydex. Everything fits perfectly and the Rucki is highly wearable as well as concealable under a winter coat (depending on your upper torso length-I am 5'11"). Overall a pretty awesome set-up. The blade in sheath swings under the arm for fast deployment. While on the back, this sheath stays close to the body (the sling has a stretchable type of material built into the strap which allows it to be snug to the body.

Here is a set of pics showing the system being worn by myself (can be viewed in slideshow):

Thanks, yeah it seems to work well. I bought two different slings, but I think the one I have on now with the more rubber band type material is the best since it keeps the blade close to the body.

Thanks for the Pictures,
the Carry System Looks very comfortable.
I find this Art of System One of the best option
to carry small/large Knives.
For my SF Echo i use the MercHarness System.

Cool pic Dirtskirt, are you using paracord in the pic?
Hindsight, I have put my Rucki in a Hazard 4 Plan B bag (Pictures on the same flikr account as above) , not so much on the out side though, although I am sure it would be possible with a Tek lok. I attach my Timberline Spec War to the outside of this bag with the Tek lok attached to the kydex though.

I had my rucki attached to a pack but i removed it. I will try to put it back together and Post a pic.

Very nice setup. I am looking for a way to carry a Rucki handle down on my pack. Anyone got suggestions for that?

I did a week (5day) jungle stomp with it lashed to the side of my pack...just para-weaved the kydex to the Molle. Worked great! I would not do upside down unless it was on my chest where I could lash the handle to the sheath and be able to undue it when needed. Upside down only works well in the house, city, or movies... When your jumpin around and stuff...you're likely to become a patient doing that IMO. Handle up on the pack is the way to go.

here is my rucki on my disc golf bag. I also posted this picture on a disc golf forum. No one over there could take a joke about it.........

That is a great idea. You never know when you are going to have to cut down a tree to retrieve a disc. LOL
