Anyone have one of these they modded?

I just bought one and im not really happy with the trigger. I was wondering if the accurizing kit was worth it.

Thanks,
Billyp

Hey Billy...

Rugers are notorious for lousy triggers, as far as I'm concerned, they've got the worst triggers in the industry...

Short of the 10/22 I wouldn't buy a high powered Ruger of any type...

Now that you've got it,, you may as well have a trigger job done on it...
or deal with it,, or get rid of it...

A trigger job benefits most guns.

But before you invest, I'd ask myself if I liked the gun enough to do so.

As for an accurizing kit, what all comes with it?

Ruger triggers are pretty simple to lighten, pick a Clark or Volquartson kit. The new Mark III 22/45 makes into a very nice little pistol with the addition of a Tactical Solutions 4.5" threaded upper and a Gemtech Outback suppressor. Goes 24 ounces all up....
