RUI Tactical Knives?

I started seeing these things popping up on legit knife shopping sites.

Being a rainbow throwing up mall ninja/tacticool boi, I had to know all the details...I love me some N690 Extrema Ratio knives

Sadly, these seem to be rebadged Extrema Ratio knockoffs from China...

I looked at their website http://www.rui-knives.com/ and its a bunch of designs from Fox and Extrema. Nothing states what the steel is for the knives etc...

I apologize up front if I am off base, but this seems like blatantly stealing knife designs.

If anyone has info that will set me straight on these let me know, I want to like these knives.

Regarding RUI blade steel, when in doubt about a China knife, assume 420 or 440 stainless.

I did see a close up of one of the ER knock-offs elsewhere and it was marked "440".

Yeah I was out of the forums, work and stuff...life, man. THanks for the info. They have a Tracker knife that looks kind of cool but the prices (all around 70 to 100 bucks) seem steep for 420J and 440a.

I have a couple of the RUI Energy knives. Actually pretty nice. The two I have look like a folding version of the Bailey Bear Grylls knife.

I have a few RUI Knives that i have been buying from [Deal Spotting is not allowed]. I have got 7 of them and will be getting more of them specially the new RUI Essex.
