I remind everyone that the review contains my humble opinions

Here a link where you can see all the photo collection of the knife: https://imgur.com/a/BTmPX

PACKAGE

The knife arrives in a black cardboard box, where the mark and some contact information are indicated (note that RUIKE is part of the FENIX brand, famous for torches)

By unthreading, a first envelope, we find the box with the same writings; once open we find two sheets (one describes the knife and the other serves as a guarantee) both in English and Chinese, below them we find the knife; perfectly placed in a shaped sponge support

attached to the knife by a small plastic band, there is a label indicating the RUIKE brand

THE KNIFE

The first thing you notice when you grab this knife is its solidity; as soon as you take it you notice its excellent workmanship. Open blade measures 21.5 cm

to follow some photos of the open blade knife compared to a pencil, to a normal lighter, to the fenix PD 35; in the end instead a comparison with my hand (medium-sized hand)

The closed blade knife measures 12.2 cm In the following photos you can see the handle in G10 (resin and fiberglass) of military green color with Skidproof finish; which gives a remarkable grip. In the picture you can also see the screws that, in addition to fixing the grips in G10, also allow the rotation of the blade; in particular, the latter exploits the Thrust Ball Bearing mechanism, which gives it considerable fluidity. Note the details of the Skidproof finish

Also note the Clip, which is really well done and offers a really nice grip on the fabrics; is fixed by two screws

The weight of the knife is 126 gr.

BLADE

The 14C28N stainless steel blade with a 9.2 cm-long Drop Point shape and 3.5 mm thick 58-60 HRC has really sinuous and elegant lines; the blade is flat along its entire length.

The blade is perfectly fixed in its seat, even shaking it does not move a mm, does not create even a slight maracas effect; this is a test that I always do on every Folding, and this knife has surpassed it.

In the following pictures you can see the blade in its beautiful lines; notice how it tapers gently accompanying the shape of the blade, the tip is very light.

Also note the various inscriptions indicating the RUIKE brand, the P121-G model, the serial number and the metal of the blade.

On the blade there is also a Flipper that allows you to open it very quickly; this Flipper, once the blade is open, acts as an index lock, gives an extra solidity while holding the knife.

See how easy it is to reach the pinball with the index

Thanks to the Flipper and the Thrust Ball Bearing mechanism, the knife opens easily with the index and without too much effort. The blade really comes very sharp, you can easily cut paper, cardboard, electrician strips, strings, lanyards etc ... objects that with a simple knife or scissor would be hard to cut

Without effort, wooden sticks can be created to light the fire

It is not difficult to create wooden curls or "peel" a stick

It is possible to effectively perform Batoning on medium-small sized branches

The knife has a LinerLock blade locking mechanism

To the locking mechanism have been added "cleats" that increase the grip during the operation of unlocking the blade

Here you can see some pictures of the knife; note the various hooks that hold the handle firmly; you can also hook a Lanyard

ERGONOMICS

This knife handles very well, the line of the handle combined with the G10 grips with Skidproof finish give a remarkable grip; even with wet hands there is no problem using the knife.

PERSONAL OPINIONS

I really like this knife, both from an aesthetic point of view and from a functional point of view. The lines of the blade and the handle are sinuous, innovative, and elegant at the same time; a really good 3.5 mm p blade in a Folding. The handle with the Skidproof finish does not slip during use, even with wet hands; the blade is very sharp, and holds the thread well. The 14C28N steel is a good quality stainless steel of commendable quality. In short, these are all characteristics that make the RUIKE P121-G a very good knife, as I said above; I was struck by both the first impact and after days of use.
