I wouldn't call it low end, I would call it affordable. At the suggestion of a couple of members here on BF, I purchased this knife and one other, don't want that the guys here have never steered me wrong and their judgement yet. Both are outstanding knives, and their price makes them even better. I have been carrying both of them off and on for about three months now on the job and they play well out of their league.
Fit and finish is great, operation is great, the steel is quite reasonable, and both knives are very surprisingly sturdy. Especially for the $ you can't go wrong. I wouldn't pay that much money for the knife though, simply because everywhere I looked they are $30 or just a little less. I would say your quoted price is too high.
If you find it at a good price, buy it!
