ruike

check Kevin Cleary on YouTube, he has some initial review. he says they are not bad.

I wouldn't touch'em myself but they are not my style or steel type that I prefer.

I have the P801 and it's a fantastic little knife for $30. 14C28N is much better than what you would normally get for a knife of that price.

Good looking knives, but sadly nothing lefty friendly. I mean I'll still probably buy one at some point.

I'm a lefty also, but I'm so used to a right-handed world that it doesn't seem to matter.i tend to carry my edcs in right hand pocket

I've got a Real Steel e571 that shares some suspiciously similar manufacturing aspects. Wondering about the pocket clip; does it still create hot spots on the Ruike as they've moved the clip position to the extreme back of knife. On the Real Steel it's great in the pocket but hurty in the hand. And how's the anodization holding up? Guess what I'm really wondering is whether I jumped too soon to get the Real Steel and the Ruike is markedly better, whether it's 6 of one or a half-dozen of another, or something else entirely. Than

Got a Ruike P121-G yesterday, I'd say it's pretty well made at that price point (35$). Thought the same thing as brucebox, kinda feels like a Real Steel, but also similar to my Kyzer G10 Intrepid. Who knows who makes them? Anyway, quite pleased with it, only time will tell if it is as good as it looks.

Ruike is the knife division of Fenix flashlights. made in the same factory that real steel makes there knives, or so i hear in this video.

I got a p801 last week... Oh man it's a great knife!

I have a couple Reel Steel and Hardus knives, which are nice for the money, this knife is at a different level. Nearly perfect IMO. It's the first of these that I'm actually carrying.

I recently got a p801- truly unbelievable quality and good steel at a great price. I know all the prejudice against knives from China, but the knives I have gotten in the last year have blown the doors off every other knife I have gotten recently- Real Steel is the knife to beat in the under 200 buck class, IMHO. This includes Benchmade, Kershaw and CRKT. I hate to say it, but US makers better get their act together.

I had the P801, which I really liked. Then bought the F118 Jager which has also impressed me so far. They take ridiculously sharp edges, and the F118 starts shaving hair before even touching skin.

As someone had mentioned, Ruike is at least related to Fenix (high end flashlights):

Complementing its world-renowned, superior quality flashlight line, Fenixlight is proud to announce that it has become the exclusive brand agent for RUIKE outdoor knives. Like Fenix flashlights, RUIKE has paid special attention to provide knives that outdoor workers and enthusiasts will be proud to carry and rely on. The craftsmanship, quality, and overall pride that goes into creating these knives sets RUIKE far above its competition.

In the spirit of Fenixlight, RUIKE is committed to providing a superior quality product that is in touch with its customer base. Formed with high-grade stainless steel, RUIKE outdoor knives come in a variety of designs including folding, fixed blade, and multi-function knives.

That was off the Ruike Canada site.

I gave my P801 away, and couldn't stand not having it. Fortunately, there are a couple new knives they have released, and I really liked the look of the P128SF:

It's more comfortable to hold than the P801 in my large hands, and the quality has taken a step up IMO. It weighs a chunk more (4.2oz -> 5.6 oz), but that is due to a thicker blade and thicker handles which are milled out to save weight. Also features that "beta-plus lock". It's a steal in my opinion at $65 CAD from Warriors & Wonders.

I have four or so I've been impresses overall with the construction and overall quality but don't lover all the designs the two new models I like but they have beat blasted blades which I don't love here is a first impressions video from a couple weeks ago

I recently bought the L11 large slip joint for $27. Very well made knife and came very sharp. Great apple slicer..

No problem. I've been using it a couple weeks now, and really love it. Passed the paper test out of the box, but I compared it to my Ruike F118, and noticed that it wasn't even close to as sharp. A few minutes on the Sharpmaker, and my P128 is just as sharp. Now when I do the paper test, you can barely hear it slicing, the same sound that comes from my higher end Japanese kitchen knives.
