Ruixin pro problems.

Just received my Ruixin pro RX 008.
Set the angle to 20 degrees.
When the blade is flipped over to sharpen opposite side the angle is 18.5 degrees. Anyone had this issue ?
How can this be fixed. Thanks in advance.

btw the ℝ𝕏 𝟘𝟘𝟠 hasn't been mentioned much here maybe because it is relatively new? i don't have it, hopefully other owners can help you with your questions. ℛ𝓊𝒾𝓍𝒾𝓃 has been mentioned in several threads though, you could try to bump such a thread so that the thread participants get an automatic notification.

btw i hardly use my ℝ𝕦𝕚𝕩𝕚𝕟 ℙ𝕣𝕠 𝕀𝕀𝕀 anymore other than as doorstopper . but i'll agree that such budget GRSS guided rod sharpening systems have their justification, e.g. to teach you about their suoıʇɐʇıɯıן.

Go to youtube. Type in Ruixin Pro Knife Sharpener 15 degree adjustment. robert cuthill
He has 2 video clips, you will have to watch both, only one has the way to fix the problem.

Edit. You want the one dated Feb 22 2021.

Let me get this straight - you have the same knife on the same platform with the same guide holding the same stone and the only difference is you flip the knife over, and it changes the sharpening angle?

According to the YouTube video fix , it's a design fault. Quick Fix using electrical tape did the trick.
