RUIXIN Pro Sharpener….Thoughts Please!

Hey all.

I have an old Lansky basic kit that needs retiring. I spend more time cleaning the surface of the stones than I do sharpening. I don’t sharpen many knives so the basics will do fine for me.

I’m looking for a replacement I came across this RUIXIN Pro system that comes with what looks like 8 or so different grit stones. Watched a few videos on it and it seems like a suitable replacement for my Lansky. It works on the same principle. I know it’s made in China.

Can you all give me your thoughts on this sharpener? Would it work well for a novice like me that won’t be using it very often?

Any advice or suggestions you care to give is appreciated.
Thank you for your time.
