Try to make this short last week went to a bait shop not far from my house in chicago to get my fishing license and to my surprise in the case by the cash register they had knives ! Mostly junk but sitting right in front was a barlow with what looked like bone handels . Didnt look at it that good was in a hurry all last week was thinking abought it so i stopped in there friday and took a look it was a Ruko a brand ive never heard of asked if i could check it out got to say i was surprised fit and finish where pretty good not sure if the handles where bone or just plastic grinds werent perfect but very good and the blades had no play at all . I wasnt looking to buy another knife at least not another slipjoint but i could not help it and i went ahead and bought it . Took it home cleaned it sharpend it up oiled the joints seems like its a pretty good knife. Will post pics as soon as i can . Just have to say i am glad theres not a lot of places around me to buy knives cause i got it bad .

This RU-KO barlow has been a favorite of mine, I like the sheepsfoot main blade and as it takes a razor edge it is the one I often reach for when cutting light cordage like paracord. Just press done on an angle and the burn the cord and you have a nice pointed end for lacing. And that swedge....simply classic!
