Well at 300 lbs I'm pretty sure my large hands will fit a new BM 610, I repectfully submit to the experts, The black looks so bitchin, and I do have have a 6 year old large AFCK in black coated, it shows some wear but not too much. If you were buying or have bought this pocket sword, which is the better purchace, I wont have all my money saved till one more month. so im learning all I can till then. Ever since I quit smoking, I now have the money to save up for the knives I want. I really respect your opinions, Peace Out . Scotty

I dont think you can wrong with either one. If you like the black/serrations combo, then go for it. Alot of people seem to prefer plain edged blades, but I like the combo blades myself.

I prefer my blades to be satin or just plain jane. Im not to into the whole black blade look but it really depends on what you like and want. It will be you who spends the money and should be satisfied with it so go with your favorite.

Me, Im gonna gey one in black. But I like black stuff. Carry a Surefire U2 flashlight in black, a Leatherman Charge TI in black, a pair of older Benchmade AFCKs (one left and one right) in black, my Kimber .45 is black. So I will get the black Rukus. I have never had a problem with black wearing off.

At the moment, I'd go "bright" blade.

Why? The coated blade is only offered with serrations at this time.

I like serrations on my work knives (a recently acquired opinion that may change), but not on knives I carry for general daily use.
