I need to scrape up a few bucks. I need another one of these.

This is fun! I hope all of you who don't have one, get one and enjoy it as I do mine.

Tell me please - why would I want Scandi grind?

I'm thinking a purple heart knife with aluminum hollow tubes rather than solid pins would be a sweet looking Rule # 9, but the full flat grind or scandi has me wondering. Is the scandi a better all purpose blade geometry?

I think the full grind is a better all purpose choice, but others would disagree. I just figured choices are good!

I've got 3 confirmed orders so far, not a bad start!

My recommendation is for flat grind. It will eventually be convex and be sharp and tougher (less prone to rolling the edge).

John - didn't realize i hadn't confirmed. email incoming. I am going to go with the purple heart, flat grind, and probably aluminum pins. Only thing i'm not sure about is whether to go full coverage on the handle or original style. I am leaning towards original, but since i have one in the original configuration, not yet completely sure..

I'm going to go ahead and close this, I think if anyone wanted one they would have ordered by now.
