I have recently become a Spyderco dealer. I cannot afford a dealer membership, and do not intend to sell on bladeforums. Is there a way to inform other forumites (in my signature line; for example) that I am a dealer, without it being considered advertising?

I'm not looking to solicit business, but I feel that I should disclose my dealer status, so that others may judge my posts accordingly. I've seen too many "schills" on other hobbyist forums.

Yes, if you get a membership you can have a link to your website in your sig, and if you get a Platinum Membership you can give yourself a custom user title, your business name or whatever you like. You will be in good company; a lot of dealers don't choose to advertise here but participate in the discussion forums and get a Platinum Membership to show their support for Bladeforums.
