Are anybody know about 6 monthes testing of NOKS made SMERSH in Tactical knives?
What were the results?
This knive have very agressive marketing in Russia. But on First Russian Knife Forum and knife.ru they have very bad reputation. So I am wondering, what did Tactical Knives may say about this thing.
Thanks, Vassili

I have all issues of TK through on Jan. 04, can you narrow down the issue a bit? I leafed through about 7 issues, but found no mention of the brand you spoke of as a stand alone topic, is this in relation with another maker? a little more info would help me track it down.

The knife name is SMERSH, the producer is NOKS, the author Skrylev. I am not sure that it was any article, Skrylev just mentioned that his knife was tested, so I am wondering what results were.
Thanks, Vassili.

I recall that article (if I find it, I'll reread it and tell you waht it said). As I recall, the Smersh got good reviews for a couple of reasons. One was the fact that the serrations were on the front portion of the blade. This allows that section to cut rope and such, leaving the edge nearest the handle to do woodwork and high "power" cutting. Also, the knife, beign influenced by Norweigan stuff, has a good general design. I believe the author didn't care for the guard much. Overall it got good reviews and made the author even more curious about Russian knives.

Thanks, great. I am looking forward to hear you soon more details.
Thanks, Vassili.
