Just got my first Case Russlock off the Bay, everything is mint except the blade. The blade is going wobble, wobble.
This one is made in 2000 and never used. Is this pattern prone to the wobble? Will Case fix this?

I don't think the pattern is prone to wobble.
The WR Case web site has contact information. Ask them about fixing it.

I have a couple Russlocks. Can't see how the pattern is in any way prone to wobble. Its construction is the same as any traditional linerlock. I'm guessing your example is a result of sub par construction. May have been that way when it left the factory. Best advice would be to see if Case will fix it.

Send it off. My Russlock is solid, and I can't say I've heard anyone complain about wobble right off the bat with one.

I have two Case Russlocks, bought new on-line, and both have blade wobble. I just thought it was part of the design. probably should send them in to Case. Everything else about the knives is great, but the wobble is very noticeable.

I checked one of mine. If I hold the blade and try to move it side to side, i can get it to move a little. Doesn't affect the usage or bother me in the slightest.

If you look at every pocket knife with a magnifying glass trying to find problems, you will find problems. i prefer to just enjoy them for what they are, unless there is a problem that I can't fix myself that affects the functionality of the knife.

I've got a couple of Russlocks, from that same time period. I've never used/carried them; but they've always been pretty stiff to open/close. To be honest, I've never wiggled the blades

I had one of the yellow Delrin and CV ones. No blade play and it opened very smooth.

I've had mine for 8 years, no wobble at all. You can contact Case but I have a feeling because you got it from the bay you're stuck.

Here's mine.
