Russlock...

It's a liner lock, and the do-dad on the spine is an opening lever. Notice the lack of nail nick. A very early "tactical" knife, you might say.

I've got one, some folks 'round these parts have a bunch. And they can tell you a lot more about them than I, seeing as how I learned everything I know about them here... :)

Since I asked the question in the linked post, I've gotten three Russlocks, all in stainless. Anytime Russlocks are brought up now you will see me singing their praises. Most especially a 6.5 Bonestag that I frequently rotate in for EDC for about a week or two at a time.

FWIW, if anyone finds Russlocks to be uncomfortable for pocket carry, I discovered that Case-branded belt sheaths are available for them.

I don't have one of these sheaths myself, and don't have any connection with the above website, I just found 'em one day and thought I'd share. I did, however, pick up one of the Copperlock sheaths, and they're OK. Soft stitched leather, not molded like a Buck sheath, for example.
