I recently purchased a strider tarani hs karambit that I have been wearing here for summer and I am often damp. Well I noticed a little bit of surface rust and so I lightly removed it with some birch casey blue remover and then I coated the whole thing in CLP. my question is how long will I need to go before I recoat it again so that this will not happen?

If its an EDC i do a quick wipe off every day before i put it on the nightstand, once a week minimum.

Don't use the Blue and Rust remover very often. It can really screw up the edge retention of your knife, plus it can ruin the blade finish. Use 0000 steel wool instead.

Are you cutting stuff with it, or just wearing and sweating on it?
