I took my JH out yesterday and holly crap......rust everywhere!! I had it wiped down with oil but I guess it still decided to rust. I scrubbed it down again but can't get it off! :( Any suggestions and is this par for the course on this knife. I have other com blades and this is the only one that has done this. HELP BUSSE FOLK!!!

good link.... thanks for the info.... I guess I will try a few of the idea on that link but I am pretty disappointed in the knife rusting with out even using it. Lesson learned..... com grade rust VERY easy and are not good safe queens..... I will lean away from them in the future.

I'd use some Scotch-Brite to clean it up, put some renaissance wax or paste car wax on it to keep it from rusting.
watch out for cabon steel, steel wool it could make it rust faster, the stainless steel wool would be fine.
Clean it up and consider it a user.....;)

In between cleanings I use Eagle One Nano Polish on all of my non-kitchen users, easy to apply and it works great.
