Any suggestions on preventing rust on a BG-42 SLCC that is constantly soaked in sweat?
Break-free only goes so far! and I think that Tuff-cloth causes rust!

Probably a stupid question, but what kind of metal is talonite?

Perhaps anyone knows of a website which explains this, should the answer take more than a line or so..

Christiaan.

I saw that a couple of posts ago and wondered about its use. Is that what the Teams use for sea water exposure? anyone?

Mick,

This Wax you are refering to, is it that Renaissance Wax that I saw a couple of posts ago or is it as simple as buy a candle heat it up and ta-da...wax?

Thanks
Scott

Short answer - Talonite will not rust, stain, and keeps a decent edge for a long time, etc.

Long answer - do a search in Knife reviews and you'll get enough reading material to put anyone to sleep.

I like it. Is it Strider ATS34 tough? Nope. Does it serve a different purpose? Yes, very well I think.
