Rust specs inside my 503.

I noticed a few rust specs on the inside of my 503 on the lock bar. I've never had a Buck rust like that on the inside. What's the best way to get these out? Thanks in advance.

I'd use a drop or two of oil and some 0000 steel wool with a toothpick or some other small items that will push it down in there and let you move it around

I agree with Bad. Perhaps try using the stem of a Q-tip and see if that will fit in the blade well. What year is you 503? The early ones were made with a stainless frame. DM

Thanks. I already tried the Q-tip stem, but it was too big. I may need to use a toothpick. It is a 2014 model.
