Rust spots

I just noticed some rust spots/pits on my BG-42 blade. There's some right in front of all the thumb ridges on the spine of the blade and a noticible one right above the edge. Is there any way I can get rid of them? If not, is there any way I can prevent it from spreading? I've rubbed with Tuf-Cloth, but that didn't get rid of it. Any ideas? Thanks.

I think that this is a perfect opportunity for you to get a S30V blade from CRK and when you get it back send it to Tom Mayo to be Mayonized. Rust is pretty tough to get rid of. I think that you would have to grind it off. I'd send it to CRK for that. Good luck!

I don't think the purpose of Tuff Cloth is to remove stain/rust.

Suggestion ? What to do ? Send me your rustic Sebbie and buy a new one :D j/k

Try to find some metal polish to polish the rust. It works. I use Flitz.

To prevent it from spreading, this is where Tuff Cloth works. Or you can apply some wax (Renaissance wax) on the blade.

Most of all, try to keep the blade dry after each use. I use my Sebbie everyday, but it never even stained.

I nicked the spine of my BG42 seb and one day noticed a littlebit of rust in the nick... It was rignt on the corner/edge of the spine. I used a smooth stone from my Sharpmaker to lightly buff off the nick/rust. You can hardly tell unless you look at it with a glare... I've taken better care of it since and have had no problems so far.
