Just a quick fyi and inquiry. Went to a pool party on Sat. Needless to say, started at 7 and we left at 4AM. Had the KISS on my waist. After some pretty heavy imbibing, people started to get tossed into the pool, me included. By that time, had no memory of the blade on the waist and swam the rest of the night with it. By the next morning when I realized that I had it on, took it off and it had some pretty serious rust ont eh blade and the frame. Ended up getting it off, but the rust stains remained. I'm pretty pissed at myself, but a litle more so at the kiss. I mean, come on, Brand new blade and rusted in less than 3 hours. Is this pretty normal, or do you think I should contact CRKT about it?

I'd say it's perfectly normal for that knife esspecially since it bead blasted. (I have one).

Being new or old has nothing to do with it, it's the result of steel and the type of finish.

At least it wasn't a solid orange blob that couldn't be fixed...
